Farmall C Dripping carbutor

I have a farmall C with a zenth carbutor that is getting ready to be used as a paper weight . I have put a rebuild kit in it with a new rubber neddle, float does not seem to be leaking, float is set level. Tractor runs good but if you forget to turn off the fuel it will drip the tank dry. Thanks for any help
