The mice love those torque tubes on the A and C. Both of my Shop Mules were afflicted with this when I aquired them. One was spit to fix the clutch. The other I just cleaned out as best I could through the hand and other access holes. I found that after you get out all you can by hand that using a compressed air blow gun with extended tube on it works pretty well to clean the stuff out. Pretty messy though and not so pleasant down under a tractor while doing that.
