Kinda in a dilemma, I have a 59' JD 430w, good little tractor, not many options, but really stout for its size. I have the chance to trade straight up for a farmall 460 gas, wide front, all the bells and whistles, 3 pt, live power, etc., except for the deluxe seat. Farmall has 5700 hours showing on a working tach and seems to be in good shape, couple of oil leaks and the power steering catchs for a second every now and then. We had a 404 gas when I was a kid, my dad says the 430JD would eat it for breakfast. I know the 460 is a lot more tractor at about 48hp, than a 404. I don't row-crop much anymore, mainly cows and boer goats, pulling disc mower, rakes and similiar work {have a cab 5610 to bale with}. Question is do you think I'll be satisfied with the 460 or will I always regret trading off a really good 430 for a nightmare? Thanks for your opinions
