Dear Tractor Vet First of all thank you very much for your prompt reply.I must confess that I lack knowledge on the tractors subject and other thing is that my tractor is located in contry side in Mexico,So I´d like you to keep this in mine to provide advise. I don´t know if the tractor is with open center system or the PFC system, if you give me any idea on how to answer this I will let you know. Before I forget this idea let me tell that the stuck valve or spring, would explain the lack of flow in the oil cooler but would not explain why the 3 point decreses the speed as a lack of power because it gets too slow. The 3 point works with the main pump whereas the power stereeng, brakes and cooler with the MCV pump. Am I right? Could it be possible that the safety oy relief valve is worn out on the sit and is openning before the rated pressure? I contacted the local dealer and you can imagine the answer they dont service such old tractors, they can sell some spares and that´s it. I thought that using a flow/pressure meter would be great but they dont have such a tool. I´m sure you can come back with some ideas and I´d like you to think about this, would it be too expensive to repace the MCV with a new or a rebuilt one? Any idea if there is a kit to replace springs and the realted suff? Thanks Francisco.
