problem with tractor shutting down when hot

i just bought a 1958-60 farmall (the guy did not know).Now he stated he just rebuilt the tractor and it looks it. The problem is after running it any were from 30-45 min it starts to run ruff then shuts down. A moment later i am again able to start it and it starts right up but shuts down again this time without even putting the pto on. The guy i got it from took it back to his shop andso far rebuilt the govener,and put a new coil on it and it is still doing it. He now wants to rebuild to carb again yet i am running out of time and need the tractor back ASAP. Can anyone help. thanks Mike
