off topic....feeding cattle

i know there's alot of factors here but just a very rough idea is all i need. i want to get some beef cattle next year. i haven't decided yet if i'm just going to feed for the summer or year round or have breeding stock yet. i do about 30 acres of grass hay, will have 3 acres of alfalfa next year and 5 acres of pasture. how many cattle can i support/or how much hay does it take per cow per year? once again just trying to get a ballpark idea so i know if i need to round up more hay ground and pasture. i was thinking about ten head or so.
