560 IHC transmissions basicly same as M, 400- old age on shifter can wear enough slop to allow gear to engage or shifter rod end to slip out of sliding fork. second posible is worn shifter fork, third is double gear engagement- locks trans.. Lift top off trans, disengage gears, realign shift fork to engage shift lever, set top back. F20 and M can be accessed trhough belt pulley plate. Might want to braze a little extra metal to bottom of shift rod to reduce slop. Brothers have done this on ACs gear shift levers also. RN
