I am going through my H getting her ready for snow plowing season, and have run into a couple of problems: 1) Both the water pump belt and the generator belt are pretty loose by normal standards, cannot figure out how to tighten them up. The belts appear in real nice shape but should I just buy new ones? 2) Tractor has a coil/distributor, my dad says my grandpa used to have the same set up on his H and he always covered it up with a homemade "shield" cut from a piece of innertube to keep the snow/moisture out. Is this a good idea? 3) What size/hardness of bolts should I use to attach the plow frame to the tractor? Thanks for the help, I am learning so dang much from this website I can't thank you all enough.
