MRear end oil change

Going to change r/e oil, probably for the first
time in 20 years (considering previous owner).
Thought I might run her up the road a bit to get
the junk moving, then drain. What about flushing
with diesel before refilling? If so, should I try
moving her around before draining the diesel?.
