Bill it is a lot of work to add hydraulics to an original straight A. If yours looks original, is it possible you just can't see the first digit and your number is actually FAA (3)17993 ? That would make it a 1951 tractor and the one date code you list 12-12-T is Dec 12 of 1950 which would be reasonable. If this is the case and your engine is original, I think it's casting number should be 354898R1 (behind the oil filter housing) with a date code n-n-W for sometime in 1951. Let us know what you find, Stan(VA).
