Still Can't Get 656 To Run

I had a post on here a while back about my brother-in-laws Farmall 656 not running.

We have had the carburator rebuilt changed the plugs, points, condenser and had the coil checked
We have gas so that if you choke it a lot it runs out of the carburator.
We have spark by letting a spark plug against the block.
But when you turn the key it fires for just a few seconds and then dies.
I have checked the electric shutoff on the carburator and have juice there
