There has been alot of talks about paint, Wheather to use ih or dupont or whatever other's there is. My grandpa used Automotive on all the tractors he restored, It was and still is good quality paint, If you spill gas on it, just get some water and rag, clean it and your done. Now, My brother had to get a new tank for his H, So we just brought all the tin away to get painted so it would match. The guy used I-H Paint. Some gas spilled out of the tank while driving on a gravel road, so it got mixed with the gas and is inbedded into the paint. I have heard from other people that they will only use auto paint and not i-h anymore. Have any of you had this probablem with ih paint? Could this probablem with paint be that there wasn't hardener and whatever else you put in paint? thanks for any posts.
