Taken a file to the ring gear on the flywheel to help the starter bendix engage better?? I'm getting a new bendix for Cmore, and the man told me to get a file and "clean up" the ring gear. It didn't look real bad. This should help, I would think. Also, how far in does the bendix engage in the ring gear? Looks like mine is only engaging maybe 1/2" or so. Thanks, Cmore
