weak hydraulics

hey guys got a puzzling question with 2 parts, 1st is got a new Bush Hog 3210 pull type with a one way cylinder and self leveling hitch and the fasthitch will lift the front just fine shut it'll even lift the tractor (1956 Farmall 400, but she will not lift the cylinder I'm wandering if tis because she's setup for 2-way and the cylinder 2-way cylinder setup for 1-way with a breather in the other port, do I need to put another hose on and set it up as a 2-way. sorry so long, Thanks alot ahead of time David in Amo
