Thanks for replying. See my last post above for some more background info. The cracked bowl seems very possible but to have it on 2 different carbs w/ different metering nozzles seems odd but at the same time, what are the odds of having too long a screw/plug in the top half to cut off all fuel for idle. At this point, I am not ruling anything out . I want to check both bowls for cracks. How can I check them? Thanks!!!
