I did not use copper coat. People I've talked to and the manuals say not to use it on IH 6 cylinders, should I have? I torqued to 95 ftlb, how high can I go before things start breaking? As for that darn valve cover I didn't check it on level surface, I will make sure to check it before I put it back on after I retorque. As for putting the tractor to work it will only be unrolling hay bales for the beef cows so it should have no trouble seating in with that easy work. Thanks for the tips, these tractor engines are a differant animal compared to the mostly automotive engines I have worked on in the past, the book is not always right.
