Hi I have a Farmall 300 gas that sometimes starts, It will start if I have a battery charger on the battery, so I replaced the battery; it still does work. Without the charger if you let off the key after the engine starts spinning it will sometimes fire. It gets spark all the time and if you turn the key from the on position to off the wire from the coil will spark. The compression is good all the way across, 70psi. and we tried running a jumper from the battery to the positive side of the coil to eliminate bad wiring or switch. You can get it started by pulling it and when it does start it runs great. It has new points, condenser, coil, plugs, and the wires are only a few years old. Frankly I’m stumped! If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it!
