Help me remember a baler

Back in about 1947, Dad hired a custom operator to come in and bale 20 acres of clover/timothy mix hay. The guy had a war surplus Jeep to pull the baler, and the baler was a McCormick. What I can't remember is the model number of the baler. As I recall, it had an engine on it, with a single wheel at the front end to support the weight of the hitch and the engine. I have been thinking it was a 45 baler...was there such an animal? I also sort of think a 45 would have been a PTO baler, assuming there was a 45 at all. The other thought is that it was a 50-T...again, was there such a baler? Please help un-fuddle this old memory. Stan
