Farmall M carboning plugs........

My M is running rough. I checked the compression and I have around 100 psi on each cylinder. When you pull the throttle it stumbles an dtehn clears up. The valve gap is at .017. All of the autolite plugs I pulled were carboned. The carb is set okay at about 1.5 turns on both the air and the gasoline adustment screws. Any ideas would be appreciated. I also installed new points and wires. Could a weak coil cause such a problem?
