Mike, This ol H on Ebay is what I call an honest, straight forward ol girl!
Yes she does run, Not stuck, so if an OH kit is needed there is half of your battle.
Favtory wide front! enought said. Does need frount rubber!
Just as Allan said, he thought it would work as a starting point. At least that is how I too his suggestion on this ol girl, and surly she is somewhat local, at least it is in CA.
If you do not like the rear tires ad wheels, there are thousands of parted out H wheels out there, just need to get cracking at it, Personally O think they are neat, not every one has somethin like that. OBTW if you so put a loader on it, Allan in Neb has the slickest H/Loader setup anywhere around he knows the ins and outs of it all. Reat rubber is decent enought to use for a while.
The fact it has been converted to 12 v. is of no consequense. Most letter series tractors have been converted at sometime, at least this ol daarlin hasn't had the hood Butchered by some Fly-by-nigh, Would-be, Wana-be, Disgrace to farming/ranching, hacker with a Sawzall, or Cutting Torch!
The price is still at scrap metal value.
My only ? to you is this....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! IF it isn't too far away go see it, BID and make Her yours!
OBTW ...I am in TEXAS, So there is no way I will bid against you, But If I was closer.....
Again, Seriously I think that tractor is a good starting point for someone like you. Good Luck.
Later,
John A.
