Freeman Loaders: any good?

Considering driving to look at an International 584 tomorrow but it has a Freeman Loader. Most of what I've seen so far in archives, etc., suggest to me that they were not that well built, are out of business, and parts coule be a problem. Frankly, I'm wondering if I should cancell tomorrow based on the Freeman. Do I have all this wrong? Dennis
