How many holes for this H hood?

You can't see the Muffler, but it's got a hole to the left of the pic behind the... air cleaner I think? Two holes on the top of the steering rod bump that don't seem to have a use. And that... thing on the right. I don't have a clue what that is. So, the question: This was a distilate engine. I'm going to restore it. So what holes NEED to be there? Or should I restore it as a straight gas motor and just get a new hood? However, the hood is pretty damaged. Look at this on the left front side of it. There is also a pretty big dent down this side just out of view in this following pic: http://www.ghostskies.com/Tractor/HoodCrack.jpg
