Actually, a cover from as late as a 560 ot 660 will fit on a '39 M. The shifting forks changed slightly with the SMTA and later. That's interesting about the start-up date for the cotton picker. If that is true, the two hole lid never carried an old part number and we are looking for something that never existed. Don't know what to make of 315 184 R3. My numerical index jumps from 306 to 336 and there is only one of those. The next number is 350 and there are at least a hundred of those.
