I managed to free up a stuck diff. lock system by spraying penetrating oil between the lever and the diff case and tapping the pedal. Now I have the reverse issue - it will not dis-engage. I took the rod loose from the pedal and tapped on the lever but it would NOT release the diff lock. I don"t have a good schematic showing what the diff. lock fork engages to lock the diff. How much force (torque) could I apply to the lever without causing an issue. I will try to apply a vibratory load to the lever next to see if it breaks anything loose. Anyone else faced with the same concern and fixed or have any suggestions?
