Bought a nice IH 5100 soybean special drill and its has an older but still very good IH remote hydralic cylinder. The decal is still visible and its says 3 1/2 stroke control ASAE cylinder. The stroke control must be part of the cylinder internals and all i can see is an external tube that runs from end to end and what looks like a button on the end cap. Does anyone know how this thing works? I have the manuel for the drill but it has nothing about the use of this type of cylinder. A stroke control would sure be better than the clamp spacers that go on the rod.
