Hi all! I am in the process of gathering up the things I need to restore my grandfather's H. One thing I need to do is decide which rear rims to use. I could use some opinions. I have the original split rim 36" style that overall are in really decent condition...a little sand blasting and some paint and they will be good. The mating surfaces are excellent, and the tire guy said they were about the best undamaged ones he had seen. I purchased a parts tractor with 38" rims on it...the only thing that is odd is that those rims are a single drop design in the center...did IH use a single drop style of rim? If so, were they only used on the earlier models? All my other tractors have the double drop type. The H is a 1951 model...The 36 inch splits would be original, and kind of interesting looking, but the 38s would be a little better looking, at least to my vision of an H....Any thoughts???? Thanks Mark

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
