My operators manual, pg 71, says to use Hy-Tran in the xmission, rear wheel housing, and touch control. Should I ignore this and switch to 90 wt gear oil?
It didn't all leak out. I just looked through the fill plug with a flashlight and could see a level, but it seemed pretty far down. Could you remind me which is the level plug? Manual says on the left side but all the bolts look the same. Is it the lower one furthest to the front? Seem to remember it was the second one up on the fender. Thanks in advance.
It seemed the gears were making too much noise, which is why I looked in the first place through the fill plug and couldn't see a level. Maybe there was a low level. I added 5 qts on top.
