All right, got the LP Super M that I bought in September running again. It fired right up and sounds good. However, I have a minor problem in the vaporizor or carb. Here's the whole story:
I got the tractor to run briefly before I bought it and noticed that with the valves on, a small amount of propane flowed continuously out of the carb. After I got it home, one of the things I did was take the vaporizer apart and examine it. It had some powdery residue in it, but the diaphrams were not ruptured and seemed to be in good shape so I cleaned it up and re-sealed it. After that when you turned on the valves, with the engine off, nothing happened, no flow, which is a good thing. Now when I started it again, after several minutes, it started loading up at idle, running a little rich. I tried adjusting the idle screw on the vaporizer but didn't seem to make much difference. I also tried adjusting the load screw just to see if that did anything at idle, but no dice. After I shut it off I noticed that once again propane was flowing through the carb. Are there any other adjustments to it? Is simply time to get a kit for the vaporizer and or carb? I still have the name and contact info for the guy in OK that someone gave me earlier. Any other tricks or techniques I should know? This is my first LP tractor so I'm still on the learning curve.
Also has anyone seen hide or hair of IH owner's manual or supplement for the LP M's? I have a Super M owner's manual but it doesn't mention L.P. stuff.

With Ben, anyway, I can tell! He'll be busy working and I’m handing him tools and he says, "give me that..." and I’ve already got it in his hand or "hand me that....."and I’ve got the portable light right where he needed it placed to see. "Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
