Hugh, I've seen these around here before. I'm not surprised you don't see them where you are. What it says on the gear box is Ray Bock equipment company which was our local dealer in Puyallup,WA. It was the place I loved to go with my dad when I was a kid. There were a lot of lettuce and fresh produce farmers in the area back in the 40s, 50s, and 60s and I guess they needed a slow gear. They probably had those built here in the Seattle Tacoma area. A friend of mine has a 140 with this on it and it was sold new at Ray Bock. This same building and site is a Kubota tractor dealer today.
