I know I'm tiring the board and sure wish i could talk to the Tractor Vet(As he seems to know a lot about he 56 models). But I'm sure others have had similar experiences.
It seems that I was hood winked on this buy. After having the tractor for about 2 weeks and driving her some, the oil started dripping out the weep hole under the center compartment and near the hyd filter. Question: If you pull the first cover "underneath" coming from the rear housing(sets almost under the TA and is approx 12 " long, wider on end toward rear than toward front of tractor) should oil be in that area? There is so much oil around, i don't know what covers are supposed to contain oil and what doesn't. There are two inspection covers underneath the TA on the bottom of the center housing. Thanks Jerry
PS The I&T manuel is more concerned about Hyd drive that explaining some simple features. Can't find a thing on internal seal replacement on PTO shaft or TA shaft.
