Thanks Tom Windsor for you generous offer, but I got set up today. I checked with a welding supply store in town and struck up a conversation with an ex-Marine. When we got to the part of what I was going to use the 1/0 cable for, he said he had some scrap that they couldn't sell, but was perfectly good. He gave me about 8 feet. :shock: Score!! :D
So I ran over to the auto parts store and dropped $40 on terminals, lugs, and heat shrink.
So now I need to find someone who can solder copper. I may have to settle for crimping. I hope that's ok.
So tomorrow is a "search for a cable builder" day... in addition to the yard sale my wife is making me work. :?
