BTW, my clutch disc could only move 1/8" in any direction within the confines of the flywheel, and I 'eyeballed' mine successfully. I couldn't find an alignment tool.
And I rotated the clutch shaft rather than the engine to get the splines to line up, by keeping my tranny in neutral, putting the PTO in gear, and then turning the PTO made the clutch shaft rotate. Mine was a Super-A though. I don't know if that translates to your tractor.
