Hi all, the 1956 300 is running great, but now I think we need to split the tractor and re-do the clutch :( My Dad was trying to plow with it today and the clutch just slips. I've never yet rebuilt a clutch, so can someone tell me what parts are making it slip? Bad pressure plate or disc?? Or?? Since the 300 needs the clutch done, my Dad plowed for the first time with his 1944 Farmall H with a Allis Chalmers 2 bottom plow. We were suprised how good the H pulls that plow! That H has a lot of power. The plow on the 300 is a IH mounted on the Fast Hitch. If anyone can give me any info on rebuilding the clutch, I'd appreciate it.
