How best to tap the holes where the mounting bolts go into the axles on an H? The holes are pretty well rusted inside and the threads are almost nonexistant. Must have sat filled with water by the prior owner(s). I"m worried about the proper depth of the hole, proper tap size, and hardness of the metal most of all. Standard tap with lots of lube? I"m guessing it will be oversized from original specs. What about Heli-Coils?
