I've adjusted the governer linkage according to the little manual I got online, but the high idle adjusting bolt on the top and the screw on the bottom don't seem to make much difference. (I plan on getting a proper repair manual).
I replaced the ignition parts and set the points to .020
The carb is a carter UT and I couldn't find a rebuild kit anywhere so I just cleaned it up and made new gaskets.
Shouldn't that thumbscrew make the engine stumble when it's screwed in all the way?? (I'm pretty sure the one on my KB3 does that)
I checked the compression and it's 90-100 psi on each cyl.
