I was hooking up a block heater to my 1948 H and I went to look at how it was done on what used to be my grandpas 1940 H and it tees into the lower rad hose and pumps warm coolant into the block just above were the carb is. My question is the 1940 H's tee fitting on the lower rad hose has a 5/8 nipple coming out of the rubber hose. Almost looks like it was made that way. It could have been epoxyed but it has been on there that I can remeber since 1980 and has never leaked, would think an epoxy would come unglued after years and years of hott and cold. All I can find is a metal tee fitting that you cut the rad hose and hose clamp it in between. Just was wondering if anyone has ever seen for sale a lower rad hose that has a 5/8 nipple coming out of it. Ryan in Northern Michigan
