Can someone help me with these numbers ,The search function has given me some results. I have a late model Super A serial # is just over (by a couple hundred numbers) of the casting # 310 300 change. The heads are the 261172R1 which are the small valve head I understand. The engine cast # is the 354,898 R1 block with a radiator outlet water pump with its own drive belt. I do know the block bore should be 3 7/16 in. to accept 3 sleeve sizes. The Serial # has 4 number's suffixed , which I haven't found at least here on yt, they are number's 1540. I haven't seen anywhere these combinations of cast/serial numbers or how they came to be or how common they are. Is there a high flow head for this 354 898 block that are common.Would this block be fitted with the 113 cid sleeves originally. All help is appreciated.
