We are trying to get the big pin out of the gear shifter housing on a Super M. Put Kroil on it to soak for a while. Beat on it with a sledge hammer...husband is afraid to beat on it too hard so as not to break the cast raised "housing" that the lever goes into. The lever seems to be a two piece lever with a pin holding it together inside the housing, too.
Pin seems to be stuck real good. do we need to drill it out or are we missing a secret here...
