Now that we have the fuel bowl fun behind us...
I went to put my carb back together last night (Zenith 52499 DB) and ended up with parts that either were different or simply didn't fit.
The kit I have is a Tisco C509V which I double checked and should be right for that carb.
One of the small replacement pilot jets (I guess that's what you call them) fits but it's much shorter then the original. The idle jet doesn't screw it at all, the tip is bigger and instead of having a normal button screw head it had a big thumb screw.
I can use the old pilot jets, they clean up easily enough but the idle jet is a killer as the one that was in the carb is really buggered up.
Did I just get a messed up kit? I bought it a few years ago, I don't even remember from who...
