IH tractor handcranks ??

I was wondering how many years span did
IH equip the farm tractors with hand cranks ?
How late did they go ? Did the regular C
and Super C have one supplied to them when
built ? How about the 300 thru 450 tractors ?
Do some models handcranks interchange with one
another for use ? How do you tell the correct
one for your tractor ? And, finally, what is
the correct way to crank-start our IH tractors-
does it matter if they have magnetos or battery
starters for a difference in ease of starting ?
Where were the cranks mounted when carrying
them on the tractors ? Were they painted red ?
I do not recall seeing any on 350 tractors.
