Upper bolster bearing on H

I am trying to eliminate some excess steering play on my H. If I hit a bump or rut, the steering wheel jerks hard and the tractor shimmies. I jacked it up and checked the lower bolster bearing, and I discovered the play is in the upper one. I pulled the steering box cover and the gears are in great shape, but the bearing under the "half moon" steering gear is pretty much worn out. When I turn the wheel, the vertical steering shaft going through the bottom of the gear box moves about 3/16 of an inch in all directions. I would appreciate any tips or hints on the best way to replace the bearing. Thanks, Dave
