So I replaced the power steering pump on the neighbors 966 and put it all back together and now his TA doesnt work. When I removed the pumps housing I looked for the Small Check valve that the manual talks about but didnt see it or it fell out and didnt notice. Does that check valve regulate the TA? There also was a small leak after puting it all back together so we got a new gasket as well as the check valve to put back in. Hopefully the check valve solves the problem, but if it is something else other then that what could it be? After replacing the pump and puting it all back together she worked fine other than the TA.
