I went out and had mowed a couple of acres of hay this morning when the I hit a tough spot and jammed the haybine. Instead of the engine loading down I heard a loud rapid series of clunks or knocks and when I pushed the IPTO lever forward the noise stopped. I cleared the haybine and tried again, this time as soon as there was any load on the PTO the knocking began again. It makes several knocks spaced a bit apart and then stops turning and makes a fast rattling noise, like the same knock but closer together. I am wondering if the pressure plate and drive tube splines are damaged, or if it is something further back that I need to look for. Any advice will be much appreciated, I am starting to wonder if this tractor has some kind of curse on it, or something. Zach
