Nice job! Clever design for the tensioning arm too - may copy it and use it on my SM. Note: I removed the rectifier end of the alternator, rotated it 90 deg CCW and put it back together after installing the alternator. This brings the 2 pole connector away from the hood sheet metal - eliminating the chance of wiring rubbing against the inside of the hood. Bob M PS - Great digital images!
