I have never had one work but I have broken off a couple in the hole. If the bolt is so tight that it sheared off while torquing, it will be so tight that the easyout will break. Don't waste your time with them. Just drill out the hole as others have described, and if you're lucky the thread will be OK. If not, helicoil it.
