JW Crap had a post earlier about his baler. It got me to thinking about how many bales my balers have on them.
So I went and checked the monitors. The JD 567 has 73860 bales This is adding two counts as the original monitor was replaced. This baler is a 2002. So we have averaged 6155 each year. Actually the count would be different. We only had the one baler the first 3-4 years we owned this one. It made around 10 thousand each year then.
The "newer" JD 568 has 39682 showing on it. It is a 2010 model baler.
75% of these bales are corn stalks. We usually bale 5000 or so for our own use. That is for the entire family. We do custom work as well.
I remember when we first started round baling, that 10,000 bales was a when we traded balers. We install liners on the sides and rebuild the balers every winter so they can last much longer that we thought.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
