I am working on a ford 8N with a side dist. putting in a pertronic electronic ign. -- got a nice hot spark comming out of the coil but I cant for the love of pete get the spark to come out of the cap to the plugs -- put on a new cap -nothing / put in a new rotor -nothing now what? spark going in but not out !! took the cap off and tried letting the spark jump to the rotor and it would not so that tells me the rotor is OK --- it would jump to the dist. housing like crazy -- I am stumped -- I tried the old cap again and nothing -- it did run when it came in but very badly Roy
