Wayne, go over to the ytmag's JD page and read my answer to Hmans question for JD experts. I have a theory that cylinder 1 gets more gas than cylinder 2 and I also find removing 1 about kills the tractor but removing 2 only slows it slightly and thats the normal operation. Its explained in detail in my answer to Hman so go there but I agree and say what you found is typical due to reasons I posted in my answer to the question to experts (which I am not) John T in Indiana
