Timing belt replacement/Valve timing (From Honda 3813 shop manual) 1. Remove timing belt cover, loosen the water pump bolts and slide the pump inward. If there is coolant in the engine,temporarily retighten the water pump bolts. 2.Align the "T" mark on the camshaft pulley with the diamond mark on the cylinder block (below camshaft pulley). 3.Align the diamond mark on the crankshaft with the diamond mark on the cylinder block (just above crankshaft pulley). 4. Place the timing belt over the pulleys. 5.Adjust the timing belt tension (.16 to .20 inch deflection), and tighten the water pump bolts. Be sure to check the timing marks for proper alignment.
