Duramax -vs-Power stroke

I'm buying a new 2006 one ton dually and drove both trucks, read all the lititure on both til i'm blue in the face. I like the power of the 6.6 duramax, it is more than the 6.0 powerstroke. I also like the 6 sp Allison tranny, it shifts smoother than the Ford.
I would like to hear imputs on these two trucks, good and bad. Thanks and Happy New Year.
